A Way To Do Maps In The Labrotory

Hey!

 

Loving the bot so far and really can't complain about anything, however, my bot is now over level 80 and the exp grind is really getting hard on him. So, was wondering if you have thought about adding a way for the bots to take maps and enter the laboratory and enter into a map instance? Seems odd to have a high level character never enter into a map instance I think.

You can "manually" do maps:

 

- Set bot exploration to 110%

- Set bot timeout to 600 (or higher)

- Go to Lab, open Map

- Go into Map zone

- Press F12 to start bot

 

but an automated way would be great.

i would donate another 25 bucks only for a working map-system in EB for sure...   cuz a working map-system is kind of hard to write with AHK ;>

bot would need to read map mods to avoid using maps that would get it killed.

 

unid maps probably bad idea for a bot also.

 

need more reliable way to pick up items because the extra quantity on maps will cause items to be too far away for the bot to actually pick them up. this happens on occasion now without the extra quantity on maps.

I still think that Catacombs support should be added before maps...honestly, who is going to let the bot do 74+ maps where spawn of devourer pack can 1 hit you before the bot can even chicken. Unless you play tanky 1 hander, you might want to risk it.

 

I would rather farm currency in catacombs which is much bigger mob stacks than any other A3 location and is easiest to farm...

Don't see your problem.

 

For bot everything should be simple.

 

Bot Menu:

Stash with maps [ number]

If there is no maps in stash farm selected area? [yes/no]

 

End

 

Stash for items is defined in Pickit tab.

In stahs there is 144 places for map.

Before botting you put maps you want to do in selected stash.

and go.

Bot should put fouded maps in selected stash

 

Its your choose to put there 66lv maps or 77lv

But in 67-68 maps you can find pretty nice uniques, and this maps are easy.

Dont need to use blue or yellow maps.

Simple white maps are good too.

ITS JUST BOT, it doesnt work like sniper, its farmer.

100 white maps finished when you sleep are more worth than 20 with hard rolls.

What if bot dies??!? Nothing! its just bot.

IT will do next map.

 

I think that only problem are maps with doors and orange passages to boss rooms.

-10% exp is a fucking terrible thing, not just bad. Especially around level 90.

 

Do some higher level maps and then read your last post again. Maps are currency sinks, not a place to farm currency. And most definetely not a place to bot your main.

I have a character capable of farming almost any mods on maps <75 (obnly mod I can't do is blood magic). I would love to have this option simply for:

 

1. I have about 4 stash tabs full of different 66-70 maps, if I could farm these all day and turn them into just a few 74+ maps, I could sell them and make a ton of currency.

2. Great EXP for leveling starting when im farming like 72ish maps.

3. A nice change/pace instead of steadily farming one zone over and over, perhaps lowering susipicions from GGG.

 

Other reasons also, but thats just some I can think of that benefits me greatly.

You are saying about playing, me about farming.

 

White maps are enought for bot, it will do x2/x3 more maps than you after school/work.

From map you should have 1.2 new map, so it can bot till eternity.

 

Map boss have higher chance to drop uniques than boss outside map, on low level maps i found Shav/crown/other high value uniqs and I play without MF/IQ just fast.

And its still your choice.

You can stay at library if you prefer.

My bot is 91lv, all exp gained in library

my ranger can farm 76 maps with most mods , cannot do end bosses to most  74 or higher maps but still , get more shit from trash then bosses... still not bad for a bot
